Delebrations on awareness of Haryali

Mr.Surinder.K.Shair,a horticulture expert,opened the session on first camp organised by DRDA Haryali.He started his session by encouraging words of praise to the farmer community,who are the lifeline of society.He said that it was not the urban population who will be in a position to harness the advantages of Haryali programme but the rural masses and this will ultimately engulf the whole globe when wasteland is converted into orchards and postures.He pointed out that how a plant cleans the very air we breath and provides food stock to millions on earth.He had brought along placards and one blackboard showing cycle of air purification by plants also the food chain.Stress was laid on systematic growing of trees and crops.Mr.S.K.Shair,then handed over the session to other expert,who delebrated on how to plant and procedures to be adopted

Crying and Moaning Earth

Mostly we like to read controversies over petty issues.We can do it a bit later.But for the day I have a poem written in original by JENI LEENA LAL after reading my first post.Enjoy.
“Green Green Green
Today we are talking about Green
Without Green World cannot be seen
Scenery is green,Trees are Green
Leaves are Green,Vegetables are Green
Then why are you so mean?
Should you not eat all but beans?
Because it is our Home-Green
Green Green Green
All grasses are Green
I want to see all Kids
Grow early and go in teens
So eat all Green
Green Green Green
Our Earth is green
Then why are we so mean
Should we not save our World Scene?”
Then lets Grow Green to save the scene.

Green Earth-How it Worked

Indian Government initiated Watershed development programme in a remote area in J&K state bordering Pakistan.The sole purpose of this initiation was to conserve water and vegetation in denuded areas affected by indiscriminate tree felling and soil erosion.Programme was stated in the year 2005 and yet it did not yield result as the people were not mentally disposed of the idea about conserving anything.Dismal progress brought us on the fore front in not only motivating the general public but also to make them aware of the great benefits this water conservation programme evetually will bring in their lives and overall making of this earth a green place to live.I will let you see the series of Photographs where the pulic at various places was gathered and was highlighted with this programme.This special effort with the help of the voluteers was initiated in the year 2008 and has resulted formidable impact though presently in a small place.
